    Can someone kindly explain what the PATCH function is for in the keygen ?

    Running Mac - Logic -

    Have installed software -
    Replaced: libMeldaProductionAudioPluginKernel
    Activated with the license [mlf] files

    Only the PowerSynth has come out of demo mode -
    All other plugins remain in demo mode -

    I'm guessing that a file of some type needs to be patched with the PATCH function in the keygen !

    Is that right ?

    What file ?

    No - I think its fixed now !

    I generated a new license file for the total bundle - I used that instead of the previously generated one that came with it -
    Now all plugins are out of demo mode - Good news -

    That patch function on the keygen - What was that for ?

    Easy explanation :
    - role of the patch is to patch specific binaries from checking the legitimacy of the serial that will be generated by the keygen
    when you patch those binaries the software or plugins will accept the serial that will be generated with the keygen provided
    that's why you will find some releases with ....Incl.Patched.and.Keygen
    And other releases with only Incl.Keygen that will work without the patch because the code in software doesn't have extra checks for the legitimacy of the serial generated by the keygen
    and for the hard explanation it could need more hours to explain everything

    I think it destructively alters the *.EXE (executable), or other key files. That's why you - usually - have to point the 'patch program' to the main executable or dll (or whatever file it tells you), so that it can alter it.

    A keygen, generates a serial. Some keygens also provide MACHINE ID, which is just another step in the "procedure" that you must bypass as well. How in-depth the process is, depends on how much of a pain in the ass the developer was willing to go with the protection schemes.

    It's all par for the course, though. :) Let's hear some other responses too.

    For me the cracks work WITHOUT replacing that file! :winker:
    Looks like a *trend* nowadays to release in that combination. I prefer FULL cracked stuff.
    Most of those teams release windows only Keygens which is a bit annoying, most keygens
    have crappy text input windows, microscopical texts and they're not always running well.

    Got to be honnest too me this is all aload of rubbish

    I’ve followed the steps, doesn’t work its still in demo mode

    The AudioPluginKernel my computer does not locate so what am I doing wrong here?
