@momo I had an entire memory card devoted to its sequel (music 2000 aka mtv music generator). When that broke and I lost 7 or 8 tracks I felt like a part of me had died.

Cakewalk was what brought me to music making got my first demo in a PC mag way back.
Then found out about fruity loops then found out I can download crack version.
Slow old days, browsing the web on 56k expensive dialup, looking for crack apps downloading mp3s and chatting to people on Napster wile am at it.

I started on MTV Music Generator too lol. Buuuuuttt.... I backed up those tracks to VHS (also gave them decent tape compression). And then when I eventually bought a Yamaha AW16G, I ran the VHS into it and burned the songs to CD. :)

RADIUM. I used to have a Radium t-shirt I made by taking their logo and printing it onto an iron on, with a greyish tie-dyed t-shirt.

Sonic Foundry Acid and Sound Forge
    GigaStudio
    Cool Edit Pro
    Of course Cubase VST/ASIO tech
This stuff all changed the course of history and the way music is made today.

well, I actually still have a pc that should be capable of running the stable version.
That version only goes well with windows xp 32 bits /x86 Sp-2.

newer versions that where capable of running in 64 bits or windows 7 just had to much bugs
( not finding selected presets on opening and missing bank presets ea.)

so I can't compare it to the recent Kontakt stuff one on one,
I think Hypersonic 2 might be a little to dated sound wise, or needs more processing in general by now.
(switching stock fx with your own verbs and delays)

Everybody who had used hypersonic 2 a lot where not amused when didgidesign bought the concept.

But the good news is they let it evolve into Xpand, which is cracked recently by Audiotopia

But I haven't had the the time to try jet

    Which product?
