Yeah it does take a little practie - But once you settel in theres no turning back - I have mouse pointer speed set to max [Mac] an I could still go a little faster ---

That looks like a really cozy set up you got there - If your running Logic X I could move right in - Start rolling the DnB ---

With the risk of having everyone here laughing their knobs and faders off at my noobidity i dare ask: is anyone else, anyone at all just using their trackpad (on mac)?

i got used with not using a mouse and now reading about all of you much experienced fellows here i'm thinking i might be missing on a lot of effectiveness. :woot:

I prefer the trackpad over a mouse. On my desktop, I use a Wacom Bamboo digital drawing tablet along with the mouse. I like the more tactile experience.

I got heavy pain in my thumb after using one of those Logitech Trackballs for a longer time.

The best Mouse I have ever used so far is a Logitech G502. Perfect fit for my Fingertip/Claw Grip :)
And I love the hevey Metal Mouse wheel.

I tried the MagicMouse and I don't liked it at all. It felt heavy like a brick and is so less precise than other mice.

I'm sure the track ball is great, but even better when most simple tasks don't require the mouse at all :like:

I really like Logitech mice. Worst mouse I've ever used it Apple Magic mouse as it eats batteries like no other!

yes, i only use trackpad. i have a portable studio, and don't want to carry around a mouse with me. i doubt i could even fit a mouse into my gear bag. the tables i put my gear on are usually stacked with other peoples gear, so there's no room for a mouse anyway.

touch screen.... that could be cool for some things, like sound design, mixing, and reactable but i think it would be too inefficient overall. imagine having a 50'' touch screen, and reaching 3' just to press a single button- no thank you.

i also have a push 2. for the most part, navigating my library with that is inefficient too, except for adding audio & midi effects
