I updated to 10.11.2 from Yosemite and at the beginning i thought that i should have done it, but after 2 weeks everything became the same as it was on Yosemite, I man I got used to it. Well, it has a bit more clean design. I updated cause I had memory issue, it was getting full, all 16GB in Ableton usually, since then it didn't really got that slow as on Yosemite, but memory still gets full, I have no idea why. I moved from PC to Mac in 2007 and didn't have any problems with it, till this year with memory. About update, Apple will release new OS soon, so I think it's time to update to El Captain, everything works find on it, but as with all updates, there might be some issues just after update, all depends on installed Apps and Mac itself

it's still early to move on to El Capitan.

Do you people like that much messing up with your computer and updates or prefer to make music ??:woot:

Most likely an update will restore that file to Apple's default version.

No, it's not. Just had to disable SIP and keep Yosemite's version of AU Validation Tool (easy to get back from TM, but always keep an ISO of the OSX). For the people depending on 3rd party audio drivers, the most important companies listed the compatibility issues (should that was the case) before El Capitan launch. At this moment I suppose all the manufacturers are having the drivers up to date. Heck, even my XONE:2D from Allen & Heath (it's 5-6 years old) has updated drivers for El Capitan. The latest Logic Pro X update runs smoothly, I have a handful of plugins running under 32 Lives, I really can't complain about anyting wrong.
