Hey People hope you are all well,

today i post this seeking some help from you guys,

lately R2R has Released updates for almost all Native Instruments Stuff, i've downloaded the Pack...

the problem is when i try to install any of the updates this happens:








And the same Problem for the rest of Updates,

I have noticed that usually NI stuff comes in kind of ISO files or BIN you load it into a virtual drive and install from there, but with this it is not the case...

Tried searching on the net for a solution for corrupted Windows installer...

Tried every possible Solution, and each time it tells me there is no problem with my installer, all windows files are OK!

I even installed the latest stuff from Native like :

Native Instruments Una Corda
Native Instruments SYMPHONY SERIES STRING ENSEMBLE

Had no problem installing them...

OS : Windows 10 x64 Build 10586

Since I use legit version of komplete ultimate : i don't know if i will be much help for you but i will try to suggest to read nfo files & instructions of R2R Or look in each release for NI Reg tool from R2R That may solve your problem & use it before you install the update

NOTE : you should know that some update doesn't include NI Reg tool and require previous setup before you update
i hope what i wrote could help you in anyway , good luck

 

1 - I don't need the NI Reg Tool, as i already have them installed and i'm using them, not doing a fresh install.
2 - Took your word and used the NI Reg tool, no luck, same problem.
3 - R2R Instructions don't have something special to follow.

it is either a problem from my OS, or the downloaded Packages...

i'll re-download them and try to install again, i'll reply later with some more informations...

 

Windows 10? No experience with it I guess I gotta get with the program lol.

Hmm I had user issues with this in the past with windows 7 I believe it came down to the path the updates we're looking at

 

you should know that you can use The NI Reg tool only if you don't have the previous installers
but if you want to use update and you already have the prevouis installers try to made a clean install from the beginning by using full installer + update directly & if it didn't work it may be because framework not installed in your windows 10 to run setup properly & don't forget to run the update as admin

i downloaded again, same problem, not sure how to fix it...

 

Win 10 here... no issues with updates.

As I remember, in some packages were to different installers included. Just try the other one. That was my mistake, but on Win7...

You are welcome. Glad to be of help, I was going crazy trying to figure it out at one time too.I thought I was because I used the komplete 9 installer. Found that info on a NI forum from a legit user. Supposedly NI knows about it but wont tell you about the windows tool. Also the tool can help you clean up a lot of other installer data as well.

 

Problem is caused by CCleaner or other programs that "clean" the registry errors. They mess the operating system sometimes. Don't use Registry Cleaner anymore.

 

i cant find the link to r2r ni regtool been searching for HOURSSSS ( for previous instal data)
