My New Year's resolution was to stop waiting for new products and work the wax since I knew Technics 1200's was making a comeback!

If you are patient enough and don't mind waiting a day or so or maybe even a week 99% of everything uploaded can always be found with free links or a torrent but I always say thank you to the original uploader on Az because without them It would not most likely be on the web with out there a upload

 

Its a win win situation whatever we think or not...

 

The truth is, I don't know. Like usual when it comes to what goes on behind the scenes, I'm talking half from educated guessing and half regurgitated stuff I've heard during my stay at AS. But I'm pretty sure nobody can afford to pay for the amount of stuff shared by, for instance, SYNTHiC4TE or DISCOVER. And also fairly sure that some/most of that must come from download links.

As an addition to address the original question. I suspect sometimes guys block mirrors to prevent the greedy guys from making money on their stuff. Horsemen comes to mind again. You want to get a solid yardstick for good faith practices on AudioZ, just watch Horsemen IMO.

 

Agree with most of the above. But I've just heard about 'premium link generators'. No disrespect to people making money on the downloads but it doesn't look like it's mandatory to download the news from the links provided. Anyone care to recommend good premium link generators? Anyone have any experience with services like Zevera?

 

Zevera is a relatively cheap solution that will give you access to a whole list of file host providers for a small fee of like $12.00 a month. very good deal IMO @Thankful .

 

using zippy is the high road...but i am drunk as fuck so don't mind me...

 

I use real debrid. Really cheap and good service and it also downloads torrents for you and uploads it to the host so you don't expose ip and get a direct link to download fast. I wouldn't go with Zevera used them in the past and half the time your links won't download or the host are unavailable . Just google it

what's wrong downloading from preferred links? yes it make take a few hours, but you're getting it for nowt, click those download links and then spend the time being creative, be thankful you are no longer using a dialup telephone line to download stuff nowadays, anyone else remember the days of being disconnected after 2 hours? now that was very annoying

 

I dont see anyone on here admitting that they made money from the free stuff that is so kindly provided to us by the AudioZ team. I am pretty sure there are quite a few studio owners (bedroom to pro) that have made a pretty penny out of all the; software, VST plugins, sample packs and daws that have been cracked, keygen'd, patched and shared. Some probably have given back to the software companies (I'm one of them) when they did so, but they are probably in a minority. Too many people have taken the statement "do not make money from warez" completely out of context and forget the other statement found in info's "if you like the software or use it a lot then show your support and buy it". These statements are directed at us the downloaders/users of the good stuff and not the crack teams, providers or uploaders. If you think these statements are directed at uploaders and providers then you are just bending them to suit your own weak argument.
I fail to see how the crack teams make money from their efforts or how the person that bought a sample pack or an application out of their own very generous pockets, and then kindly shares it, is making any money from doing so. If uploaders of large files or any file for that matter want you to use UL or RG or nitroflare only then that is fine by me. If you want to wait a couple of weeks/months to download what you really want then do so. Rather than cry about poor speeds stump up and buy a premium account. Stop crying! You can get one for 48 hours. If in turn the uploaders make a few pennies or it goes towards the cost of their own premium account then I say let it be and fair play to them.
If shit topics like this one (and I vote to close it)** keep surfacing on here or AudioZ then we will find ourselves with nothing again. Hasn't the past drought not sunk in with the nay sayers on here yet?
