Hey guys, I'm looking into getting a NAS from newegg and was wondering if it was the capabilities to record my session data directly to it? How fast can I expect the speeds to be if I use 2, 7200 RPM 2 TB HDD? This will be my first NAS so if you guys have any experiences with using a NAS please share. Thanks cheers

2disk nas seems to max out around 50MB/s write, 80MB/s read, so in theory that's enough to playback 600 tracks of 24bit/48khz audio ( ~80MB/s) or record 400 tracks of 24bit/48khz (~50MB/s). Using a 5bay myself connected via iSCSI with great success, it fully saturates the 1000mbit ethernet link, which isn't hard to do as it maxes out around 110MB/s.
