I need a simple to use beat slicer to chop up some kick and snares to use in trigger. Needs to also loop and do cross fades and figure out tempo. PT plug or stand alone ok just needs to be quick and easy to use. Any suggestions for one from the sister site so I can try it out first would be greatly appreciated.

Of course.. You ALWAYS need to check afterwards, no matter wich slicer you use. And i used pretty much all of them over the years. But looperator is yes, the most INaccurate i ever seen.
Still my go 2 slicer Geist.

hmmm, usually I like using serial killers to slice up my beats. But only clean serial killers that have OCD and care about hygiene and shit. Don't want messy dirty beats that sound like mush...

Good choose mate , Geist is just a great tool to have in your arsenal plus it's AAX 64 Mac / Pc compatible and he can do more than slice a loop ;)
Ps :i'm not a big fan but the Geist 2 is on the way .
