Check out the Plugin Guru on his youtube channel. He designs presets for Roland and Korg. and also sells his own for soft synths.
He has videos on how to create patches for any synth since they are pretty much all basically the same. Oscillator, filters, fx, modulators, etc. etc.

Just kidding. If I were you I would actually dig into subtractive synthesis and start from there. It's amazing what sounds you can create with a subtractive synth (aswell as a wavetable synth), especially if you layer them and process them further with VST effects.
You don't even have to be an expert to get really, really good results - results that actually sound somewhat like that Nexus demo.

Too bad i "retired", i used to "recreate" sounds for SpartanSounds and OrionSounds but now i've got some higher opportunities than that. Good thing is that now i can use the sound designing skills freely for my own music.

No inentions to be harsh but AudioZ already have a ton of stuff/sounds available in that "Swedish House" EDM-related style. It's just a matter of search. That's why Splice is awesome. If you sign the subscription you can pick just the sounds you like and might use from different packs and avoid fillers.
Regarding Baxter, I guess that now is up to him if he wanna join or not, just wait for his answer.
