I produce and record for two local rappers, they asked which song should they shoot a video for. Which one (if you are or were into rap music) would be more appealing in your opinion.

 

1st up, I'm not a big rap fan.. but the 2nd one has more energy, and sort of sets off a movie in my mind...
sounds like it has more of narrative and flow.. there, enjoy my 2 ¢ and Happy New Year !

Tough choice. The 1st track has an action movie feel to it whereas the 2nd track lends itself to a more introspective focus on an individual's hopes and aspirations.

Ask the rap crew. Are they saying that shit is so bad that everything needs to be taken down, or are they of the view that whatever's going down, good or bad, everybody wants a bigger slice of pie? If you're into doing a mini action movie, go for the first track. If the crew wants it's lyrics to address the human condition, go for the second track.
