I dunno... its just a reverb for me... maybe the intricacies of individual reverbs aren't as important to me as a great song, a catchy melody, some superb , well thought out lyrics and an awesome vocal..

    Put simply...again.. a great SONG.

harder and harder to find thesedays in the cesspool that is... 'teh net'.. amongst people arguing over why one reverb or delay or compressor is what's most important.

I hope... 2016 will bring a return to SONGWRITING and performing.

PS. Its a pretty ugly UI too

It's available but no point to download as it timebombs.
Or you can reload it every 3 minutes, at least to test it as a demo :D

I have all the EA plugins and they are top notch. The interfaces could be better though.

Well, sure, but I think great songwriting and mixing (or technical aspect of production) got little to do with each other in common. It just so happens, that the producer of modern age is obliged to do both. If you really think about it - the processes of audio engineering and songwriting are two very conflicting subjects (one derails you from doing the other), would you not agree? Either way, I was simply responding to your 'another reverb' statement, judging strictly from a technical point of view, it's not just your typical reverb, however, that may be subject to change, based on the personal values you withhold. I would like to remind though, that not everyone here writes songs or produces, there are mixing engineers too, etc.

You could find this interesting - https://www.gearslutz.com/board/gea...reverb-test-3-vvv-phoenix-r2-lx480-vroom.html

For me it was a very decisive B - C - D in that order. But I love natural sounding reverb, don't much like the 'modulated' sound of Valhalla, which is rather typical for a software reverb algorithm. Bare in mind that I'm extremely nit-picky, as I have been lucky enough to have firsthand experience with some of the best hardware reverb units (Lexicon 480, 225, 224; EMT 140, EMT 240; Bricasti M7). I'd also advise you to check out the Exponential Audio YouTube channel for some further demos, e.g.:

But of course, we don't need all these plugs, only want them :). One could be completely fine with just the DAW's native effects (unless that DAW is Reaper, then, maybe that would be a challenge). As for importance of one reverb over another, to a composer or strictly a producer - probably not much, but to a mixing engineer it can be quite important to have the perfect reverb choice for any given application.

Again, that's just strictly my opinion, if you find otherwise that's understandable :).

BTW, to those whom it may concern - the version released briefly here on AudioZ, there is more than a simple call home check left unpatched. Even with internet connection disabled, iLok license error will pop up in 2-3 minutes. If you reload it, works once again for 2-3 min. Good for demo purposes!

Version was 2.1.3 on November 24. Still is 2.1.3 as of today. First iLok 2 crack was posted on December 19th.

So he sells Stereo and Surround versions as separate plugins?
Why not separate 32 and 64-bit plugins? even more money... and in general au, vst, axx as separate plugins or would it have been too obvious rip off?
Considering that he entered the market when no iLok2 plugins was ever cracked.

I agree, the marketing scheme of these developers is kinda odd.

now to counterattack iLok2 cracks, iLok2 products may want to set timebombs everywhere...

I doubt it, copyright protection is a time and money investment. They already invested 40,000$ into iLok 2, so I'm guessing they are waiting for iLok 3 free update, lol.

And anyway that's implying that the software is only protected by iLok 2. We don't know this. It's entirely possible there's iLok 2 protection to bypass + some other layer of protection before the software is available (talking about the AudioUTOPiA cracks)

Got it just a while back.. Yeah definitely time bombed.
AudioUTOPIA are humans after all.
But maybe because they are expensive and you cant get them (just yet), it just might be a hype.. Could test them for only a couple mins..

Just to let you guys know, the AudioUTOPiA PhoenixVerb release posted on New Yrs eve, 32 bit version works perfectly fine. Only 64 bit timebombs. Bridging 32bit proves to be a solution for now

His instrument settings tutorial alone are worth visiting the Youtube channel. These tips are coming from a man with 40 years experience at lexicon. He knows frequencies and correct levels backward. So I agree One Reason, any reverb set correctly can do the same, Eventhough One reason and some others wanted AudioSex to execute me by The Saint firing Squad, Articstorm only pulled our his digital ruler and hit me on the caps, for mistakenly mentioning Eastwest Fab Four and Vintage Vault as great plugin for audioz members. Articstorm has put a tag on my foot.
