Software equivalent of Audio Hijack and Little Snitch in Win?

    You have the Windows Firewall (on OSX there is Firewall as well) which is as effective as Little Snitch in terms of blocking apps. For AH no idea.

    @lordauricle: What AudioHijack functionality do you need under Windows?
    You might have to use more than one app to get everything.

    But before you look further, see if Airfoil from the same manufacturer will do it for you:
    While AudioHijack only runs on on Mac, AirFoil is available for Windows too!

    For mac users AudioHijack is useful to capture audio played in the system and pipe this audio through the embedded MAC dictation speech capability in order to obtain a workable transcription.

    If out of there in the Windows side of things , there is a software able to do the same please offer a link.

    DDMF build some intressting stuff
    i think effect rack comes with "Audio Recorder" a little app to record anything on your comp
    and EF is like Metafilter for your comp

    AVG has interactive mode in the firewall, so it makes blocking apps a much easier process. doesn't let windows through either. i think adding rules to everything suspicious, manually, is a very tedious process. and i'm quite paranoid. no anti-virus though, just common sense and experience.

    Allavsoft works great in record video and audio files, directly download music files by copy and paste url to Allavosft.
