for my genres the EQ8 is accurate enough, i do most of my eqing by ear anyway.

Yeah it's bad. I can spend hours tweaking minutia on a beat before I realize I've been wasting my time.

I was using PSP, but Equilibrium is much better in cutting frequencies. Especially in free or linear mode.

  11. I usually eq by ear and feel, but use Q2 because I like to see the pretty waves as they crash onto the shore.

There is definitely something aesthetically pleasing about that EQ. Apart from the fact it's a damn fine EQ too.

Can't help but like the cheapies!!! AudioD3ck - Eekjuliza for me! It has mono, stereo, mid, side, center for each band! Different modes. I love the workflow. Most things just click or double-click. And it also has a pretty decent analyzer like Q2. And I bought it for $15 US. Which makes it that much better being legit! Also, being a legit Reaper user!!! Which feels good! I do like ReaEQ very much too. It is very easy to map to OSC in Reaper which makes it cool!!!

Sorry for my legitness!!! Trying to go all the way legit and stop hoarding and fucking about on the internet all day!

Wow, pretty sure even Trevor Horn isn't as prescriptive with different EQs for different tasks.

yeah might seem cumbersome ..... but works for me
the compressor list is equaliy retarded :)
although..... i become more and more a fan of
envelopes and adsr, wich cuts suprisingly much of eq and comp work
    ok i stop now ;)

I have tried to use Equilibrium as surgical tool. But the gui puts me off me everytime..
Fabfilter Q has the best gui and that's what i use probably on every track/channel.. But ony for cutting and shelves..
