Looks like Slate plugins are well liked, which is surprising since I've seen a lot of people bashing Slate Digital in the past. Can people elaborate a little on the plugins they use instead of the brand? Posts like the ones from sarawaksam, dim triad and babybrown are ones I think fit the thread theme.

I should have been more specific when I made the title that I was only discussing audioutopia releases though. I thought there'd be some fresh opinions on plugins since everyone can test and compare them :)

SantaUtopia delivered one amazing present this Christmas. A lot of people were made happy I'm sure... and I adjusted the poll accordingly. Change your votes, everyone! :bleh:

McDsp, Slate Digital, ReLab LX480. But the best present for me is that PT12 works with my two M-Audio Delta 1010 (This didn't happen since PT7).
Thank you AudioUTOPIA and Merry Christmas.

I personally like the UBK-1 from Kush Audio a lot. Wanted to test that for a long time. Thanks to AudioUtopia thats possible now and so far I am pleased with that thing. I would love to try out UVI Falcon, since I am not really sure if I would buy. It seems cool, but it's way to complex to just judge it from the videos. Anyways, merry christmas guys. Have nice holydays. :)

They model different type of reverb so it's hard or impossible to compare them.
The only stuff iLoked that I like are reverbs like Lexicon and Altiverb. I really don't understand the Fuzz around Slate Digital and I think there are far better and cheaper alternatives to their stuff. I still remember when years ago I demoed FGX (I am not even sure about the name) and I was totally petrified by its inutility.

No, I just like to hear what people think of the latest releases on the other site. I absolutely don't want people requesting things in my thread, but I can't really stop them. It was my intention to get people talking/reviewing/recommending based on their experiences with the "Extended Trial" of iLok plugins. And thanks to AudioUtopia, we've got a lot to talk about lately!

I mean, we are testing ... right? :winker:

I've actually tried a few plugins based on recommendations here that I wouldn't have if nobody mentioned it.
