All the kids are on Christmas break now, it's not only this site. I see it all over the place.

 

I did lift an eyebrow reading that, on the other hand saint isn't the new kid on the block so I'm sure he knows what he is doing

 

I'm willing to pay for premium membership. If it would weed out the riffraff.

 

Hmmm .... to me this site looks pretty much alive.

Youngsters are youngsters, newbies are newbies (for God sake.... seems most of them cant even read an Info-file) so what do you expect?

I wellcome all new members here, and I dont feel I have some special status because I regged years ago.

BUT, It could be really nice if new members would do themself and especially all others a favor and:

Read rules, pay respect to others, learn from the best you see in here (some people in here are really polite and very helpfull) and copy that to your own behavior here, result: Better place, better informations!

And stay from asking for new releases etc. it´s really a pain! Ask for anything else - especially help!

 

When you have a public forum, arguments will always occur from time to time. There is no way around it, other than to put the offending wankstain in the bin. That's what I do.

 

We should get our own forums (one member per forum max) and enjoying utopia...

 

I´ll miss your threads remix - some of them has been really good!

You seem to want the rules enforced on others, not on you.

 

While I am not unsympathetic with your forum related frustration over the past couple of days, having a hissy-fit about it doesn't help. You could easily have started this discussion from a place of thoughtful concern for the future of the forum rather than throwing all your toys out of the pram with inflammatory remarks. Everyone is always complaining that moderators aren't doing enough to keep others in line, but a group like this can only function in a healthy manner if we all put some effort into moderating ourselves as well.

But most importantly, using insensitive, demeaning and bigoted language like "faggot" is unacceptable. Do you think it would be okay to call people "kikes" or "niggers" on this forum? Of course not - in fact I would hope that you'd be banned immediately from any group if you did.

I mostly agree with those who believe this recent influx of newbie posters will die down, and everything will chill out in a short while. At the moment everyone is drunk on AudioUTOPIA, and not seeing straight. Many of these will drift away, still others will remain and a few of those will become helpful participating members, and a few will remain and not be so helpful. That's the way it goes.

These old members are getting salty because they are not getting special treatment over the newer members.
GG, you won't find that special treatment at any other forum either.

I called out the ilok thread as a request thread before Remix.

However starting a new thread to announce his leaving is a bit drama queenish.
