Good evening. I could not install the VST3 having selected options. Just install VST2 x32 and x64. Anyone having the same problem?

Studio One 3. VST3 not installed (x32 and x64 VST2 if installed). It does not work, install the .dll but not .vst3

speaking of Slate , why the hell would the gobbler app that runs the monthly plug in 'lease' program request location info ... why is gobbler hiding invisible files in my home folder? the plug in companies have way the FUCK overstepped their boundaries this past year. The VBC don't work well legit either so don't feel bad.

if vst2 is working why bother to install vst3? You get it for free so use what is working. If you like it go and buy the vst3 version.

I got vst3 to work, seems the .dll files are hybrid, copy the .dll files to vst3 folder & rename the extension from .dll to .vst3 the vst files now open fine

    Hope this helps!

Off topic, I had to make this new account as my old account seems to have been completely wiped there's no trace of my old profile, no big thing I just lost all my ratings & I'm now a newbie again

Jaycee3000, you're right, you automatically change the furthest extension and are recognized as VST3, it's strange, I had not thought haha, Thanks !!!

Wrong. I own VMR legit (everything but bomber), and I use the VST3 version every day.

I also own and use Studio One v3, running it on a Windows 10 64 bit system. For some reason S1 v3 is having trouble with a lot of the AudioUTOPIA plugins, no matter which plugin format. You're not the only one my dude.

S1v3 crashes upon opening any of the Softube stuff, all but one of the Kush Audio plugins won't even show up in the DAW, the McDSP plugins crash the DAW, and VMR crashed my DAW as well the first time I opened it. VMR works now, though I don't know why, I didn't do anything...The only plugins that work perfectly in all plugins formats I support are the Eventide plugins.

Now, funny thing, none of these problems exist when I open the plugins in Studio One v2. S1v2 runs all the AudioUtopia stuff no problem, no matter what supported plugin format. I can't open my new projects from v3 in v2, so I can't just go back to S1v2.

No worries, though, because I got around all of that by installing the 32 bit versions of the plugins and then bridging them to 64 bit using JBridge. Actually, its annoying to have to do that, but such is the downside of pirating. I'm extremely appreciative that I get to try all of these expensive plugins for free. Hopeful that we'll get patches soon to fix the bugs. Also hopeful that this post helps others in my situation.

    hi

are you experiencing any cpu spikes and other annoyances with the audioutopias as usually the jbridged x86 stuff does in S1 v3? i used to have many weird behaviors with certain jbridged x86 vsti's and i have phased out here totally the x86 stuff and do x64 only; but if this seems to be a reliable solution to make the utopias work fine, especially the softubers and SSL, then i may install the annoying jbridge shit again.. (doh) because at this time most of the utopia stuff is unstable, so i run s1 v3 x64 in win8 compatibility mode on win10 x64 here.

On another note..Persons often complain about the cost of the plugins forgetting that you are not only paying for the plugin but the support. The ability to call or email the company when things seem not to be working properly. That's another thing you pay for with plugins

No. Even uncracked Soundtoys and Softube doesn't work with legit SO3 3.1 and 3.1.1 on win 10 x64

Most fun fact that presonus call it Pace issue (Ilok can't pass win 10 validation). Is there any legit presonus user? Can you create topic on their forum that this plugins doesn't work even without iLok driver? Because seems like they do not have any plans to fix it.

Unfortunately It's a bug in AudioUTOPiA's installer (only for this product), as developer I am (Setup Factory, InstallShield), error is always possible, so don't blame them... Hope AudioUTOPiA will fix this.

When you select "VST3" it installs... VST2 (dll) files instead (even if VST2 checkboxes are unchecked).

IMO it's a bug concerning internal package selection (bug or something wrong in source code).

Unfortunatetly, I don't find a method to extract "setup.exe" content (even from "Temp" folder) to get missing 64-bit .vst3 file...

This problem doesn't occurs with other Slate Digital (like Virtual Mix Rack Complete Bundle and Virtual Tape Machines, have a VST3 correctly installed). FG-X have only VST2 (as indicated in their NFO). Concerns only Virtual Buss Compressors.

Forget this! I have made some CRC32 files comparisons for VST2 and VST3, unfortunately CRC32s never match. Tests was done with Virtual Mix Rack and Virtual Tape Machines (both have VST2 and VST3 installed files). Headers are different.

    1. Install x64 VST2
    2. Copy or move to folder VST3 and change .dll extension by .vst3

    It works !!!

Please read carefully the .NFO enclosed with this product... Only FG-X doesn't have VST3.
