Technically speaking, all he did was ask a question, not make a request.

Has anyone fixed the cello spiccato RR problem with the full or lite version? This is the only thing that's keeping me from using this library. If anyone could chime in, it would be much appreciated.

Just wanted to say I own Berlin Strings and its expansions. The 2.0 update has really brought this sample library to life. The legato is really very lifelike: it sounds like real strings playing (compare to Hollywood Strings, which is "smooth as silk"). The bumps and scratches have been resolved. The playable runs are probably the weakest single element of the package, but unless you want to specifically do very, very exposed passages which constantly use semiquavers at 160bpm or above, I can't imagine you would find this overly troublesome. A lot of runs are more effectively executed (and very realistically so) by layering a short articulation with its "blurred" variant (this is similar to Hollywood Strings' "staccato slur" patches). It's certainly worth a lot more than 5/10, IMO, especially for the price.

Just wanted to bump this thread to see if anyone has a solution to fix the cello round robin samples for the spiccato patch. If you know a solution, please respond!

There is no solution as yet other than buying the library. This issue, along with numerous other ones, has been fixed by updates, none of which have been released and it doesn't seem like they will be in the foreseeable future, either.

You can re-build a round robin patch from scratch (I have one for Tree mic samples), it won't use the fancy looking interface though.

I'm currently trying to figure out the tuning issues with the basses...
If anyone knows of other issues, then let us know.

no...if someone will release/upload the updated library it will contain the buyers details...so they just need to download the released one and see who bought it...

ok poor i can understand but i cant understand that as excuse . but this give you definetly not the rights to asking teams that they "needs" to give you an update or anything .

if you cant afford that , how hard is it to think about alternatives ? does for kontakt not exist feeled 10000 Librarys ? you cant make music anymore because you dont get an update for the library you didnt paid for ?

I actually have. All you need to do is edit the script.
