    I agree - What I really want is Fabfilter to create a Daw and a bunch of other plugins so I can just use one simple application with zero 3rd party plugins ---

    The closest to that ideal scenario with great quality is Harrison's Mixbus. With added third-party plugins support they have really come a long way. However, the best DAW usually is the one you learn first. I guess I can't leave my current DAW. It's a love/hate relationship.

    Lexicon Plate/ Hall Reverbs
    PSP Vintage Warmer 2
    Blue Cat Gain
    Maag 4 EQ
    Waves Mercury

    I use others too, but without the above I'd be like a fish out of water.
