Hey guys!

I just finished school this year and want to study Music Production/Audio Engineering soon. I was pretty sure that i want to study on the "Popakademie" in Mannheim until I read about the Abbey Road Institute (Frankfurt/Berlin). As I couldn't find too much information about it I opened this thread! What do you think about it? Would you recommend it? Are there any other audio schools you like? Let me know your thoughts!

As for other schools. I graduated from CRAS.. Waste of money in my situation. Should have just gone into a studio and asked for an internship. I was shocked at how little the students in my class knew going in, really made the entire time at CRAS frustrating. I was fortunate enough to be placed at Electric Lady Studios for my internship. Dream gig... I blew it with my party and drug habits as a young 20 something idiot. Learned my lesson in life..
Honestly, there is absolutely nothing you can learn outside of those schools this day in age at home. Shows like Pensados Place alone have made my classes at CRAS look like nothing more than a daycare for kids who like music... Save your 10-20k, read, experiment, and go get an internship even if it means scrubbing toilets for 6 months. God bless...
