    Maximising Peak Limiter
    Maximal is a maximising peak limiter that allows you to get the most out of your sound. Perfect for all kinds of studio use, from mixing and mastering, to single tracks and instuments. Using a lookahead brickwall peak limiter, along with a level automater, Maximal pushes your sounds loud.

    Maximal is a lookahead peak limiter, with auto-make up gain, and adaptive release. This plugin will smoothly limit any peaks in the audio, and automatically increase the gain. Using our adaptive release technology, you can simply tell Maximal whether you want it to be fast or smooth, and it will do what's needed inside. You can use Maximal to catch rampant peaks in an audio recording, or you can use it to make your track loud - it's up to you how you push it.

    DDL links: WIN | MAC - More info

    Price: £ 39 (~ €55)

    *The demo version is the same as the full version, however the audio drops every 30 seconds, and you are unable to save presets. There are no time limits or other restrictions.

    Requirements
    Maximal isn't a one of those power-hungry plugins, so the specs are quite modest. It should work in any DAW that can run VST or AU plugins, on any dual core system with at least 1GB of RAM. Always try ther demo first!

    If it doesn't oversample to catch the intersample peaks it is as useful as an ebola virus. :rofl:

    Well actually, if you're not of the "making things as loud as possible, no matter what" crowd, and just use the limiter to get rid of the occasional peak, then it could be useful. But then again you can use one of the 100s of available limiters or clippers for free with the same result.

    Cheers!

    @SineWave

    What? A free stuff? Do you really wanna lose the chance to use an exciting builtin Exiter? :bleh:

    I don't think we need exciters at this day and age. Exciters were invented in the 80s to hype the highs and lows because tape would decrease both. Nowadays you should just mix it properly and that's it. Not that I think an exciter is useless, though. It can be useful for some things, but usually not on the master buss IMHO.
