I'm really gettin' tired of this government bullshit. If they start takin' more food out of people mouths, or education out of our hands, they are gonna have a serious problem. I'm just gonna leave it like that.

Everything else aside, the heart of what Warez really is, is knowledge for free to the common man.....

I know it has been so for me, and many others.

Yeah, exactly. They fear the average Joe will become much more knowledgeable, and, as we all know, knowledge = power. And the government will go crazy if everyone becomes much more powerful. We're suppose to go to college, quickly become in-debt, and live miserable, powerless, and controlled. ...lmao

Let them do what they want, it doesn't matter.
Internet like we know it today will die, but another one is already under development : ultra long range (+ 30 km) and ultra high speed P2P wireless routers > no provider (100% free) + no censorship.
This Internet v2 will be unstoppable.
    :bleh: to governments.

Very long range and hi-speed wireless networks means > no provider. Personal routers are interconnected within a kind of "super Wi-Fi network". This technology was firstly developped for sharing information in countries where censorship is blocking access to websites at provider's level.
I will find the link to this info and you will see I'm not dreaming at all.

It's not "especially" for warez, but for everything.
There will be no cost, except 100 $ for your router.
This new Internet will be the merge of two technologies :

Technology n° 1 : "In 2011 Perlman announced that he and colleagues at Rearden have invented distributed-input-distributed-output (DIDO) technology, an experimental wireless communications system they claim could render cellular connections obsolete. This new technology supposedly exceeds the limits on wireless communications described by the Shannon–Hartley theorem. It was widely mis-reported as providing "unlimited bandwidth" for "unlimited users", and making fixed line networks obsolete, but Rearden's own whitepaper explains that the N times increased bandwidth is achieved only by adding N times additional transmit/receive points, each connected to the internet by other means."
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Perlman

Technology n° 2 : Self Organizing Wireless Mesh Networks
    http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/projects/mesh/
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wireless_mesh_network
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MeshBox

Of course, maybe it will never work. After all, this is only my humble opinion...

No offense to all the people that are concerced with all the new developments, the so called censorship and war against piracy.

But these are all scare tactics and nothing more. I'm from the netherlands and piratebay is blocked since a few months in holland, but the people behind it also know this is just to make a statement. And nothing more.

A few years ago in Canada they implemented a technology called Deep packet searching, what basically means checking everyting what comes in and out a computer. That was banned after just 3 months. That same technology is what they are threating us with. No government is really considering this, and even if they would, it wouldn't work.

Even if some organisation will target AudioZ, it is only a matter of time before another audioZ is rising somewhere else. Just take a minute to think about how many people use the internet, and how many people want to censor it.

    Why worry?
