    Hey guys,

I just finished my first band recording and need some advice on the mix!
The track isn’t mastered yet which will hopefully add some subtle coherence and enhance the overall vibe.
Do you have any tips to make it sound more professional? Does it need more punch? Is it too compressed/ too mid rangy/ anything sticking out of the mix?
    Let me hear your thoughts!

PS: I really appreciate any sort of comment FOREMOST the constructive/negative ones!

Thanks a lot for your time :)

Your piece sounds very good, fine melody!
Something that i noticed really quick is:
    – the sound of the snare drum is conflicting with the vocals
    - Adding maybe an exciter to the voice would give some more boost on the harmonics
    - I would reduce the effect on the bass drum, it sounds a bit too artificial
    – Maybe a transparent reverb or delay effect on the voice would fit too

Listen how the voice and drum sound here in this clip:

I think I agree with kookaboo, the drums are a little to present by my taste,
and the voice could use a little more Bite.

I do think this only need minor changes, the guitars sound great and I like how u spaced the overheads

overall, a very strong effort. i agree that the vocals seem a little buried or maybe just lacking some sizzle as kook suggested. i'm not sure if an exciter is the answer. maybe a little subtle overdrive. dig the guitar sounds.
