hi there. i've installed the unlocked version of Kontakt 5.4.2, updating from v5.4.1, and it seems to work fine...
BUT some of the libraries has disappeared from the browser on the left. Some of theme can be added again BUT not the cinebrass core and pro.
i've removed the libraries from the browser and deleted the preferences. it works since i close and relaunch kontakt. when i restart the software, it can't locate cinebrass.
it happens both in stand alone and plugin mode.
i've tried all the solutions i've found here in the forum, but it's still not working.
Does anybody know how to fix it? thank you.

 

Is it looking for an nicnt file?

Or is it looking for something else?

My Cinebrass Pro was looking for
"CineBrass Pro.nkr"

I only had "CineBrassPro15.nkr" so I just made a copy of that and renamed it. Then it worked.

Cinebrass Core I also had the problem with that it said "library content not found" but I did manage to fix it by removing the library, deleting the XML file, updating Service Center to the latest version, and then adding the library again.

 

I've had the same prob here, then i delete and reload it now it says missing lib file So cleary some thing is wrong with this pack Dunno

 

I remember a while back on my previous computer, I had to add Cinebrass everytime I launched Kontakt. It would dissappear every time. I remember I fixed it after messing around with the names of the nicnt files so I probably did what BoogieWoogie, try that *yes*

 

1. You need Tool Add any Library for Kontakt?
Kontakt Library Manager V3.0

2. You need Download Any Library for Kontakt?
- Please Search Text "Kontakt Library" in Az
3. Az up to date any Library and Free *yes*

I also have a problem with CineBrass library (I don't know if it's Pro or Core or whatever, it's 8Gb).
I don't have .nicnt file, I just have these in the dir:
CineBrass.nkc
Cinebrass_info.nkc
CineBrass.nkr
Cinebrass_info.nkx
In the instruments dir I have 12 nki files and 8 nkm files in the Multis dir.
When I try to add an instrument, it says: "This patch is encrypted and cannot be loaded unless the respective Library is registered properly."


Kontakt 5.4.2.245 (r2r) and I don't have problems with other libraries.
Any help? Thanks in advance!

 

I have this exact same problem with CineBrass Core.

Does anyone know of a solution?

I've read about replacing .nicnt files and editing plists etc. but I can't seem to get it to work.

that's what i have when i try to load any of its patches

 

I'm on mac with Kontakt 5.5.1
Kontakt was looking for a file called CineBrass PRO.nicnt
I read on another forum to duplicate CineBrassPro15.nkr
then to rename it CineBrass PRO.nicnt
It worked for me.
