I've had a hell of a time trying to track down a decent copy of AudioEase Altiverb.

I also understand that some copies need the impulse files that may not come with it.

I've got 2 copies from air that are non functional ATM (6.1 is password protected which I cannot dig up the password
and 6.12 which is an incomplete file)


I've been searching hi + lo for what would seem to be a working recent copy of this bad boy. any suggestions? thx

 

you could actually buy it!

if you needed it that badly and and thought it was that important to your music career...

6.12 air works fine.....you will need the ir library that is over a gig or atleast 1 ir for it to work.

 

6.12 works fine..you need to install IR Library.

Look for this: Audioease.Altiverb.6.3.5.IR.Library.HYBRID

 

I run Altiverb on a PC system Windows 7 64bit. The version I have is 6.12 from AiR. I use it in Ableton Live 8.

I got this working doing two things: run the installer as admin and when I open Ableton Live I do so as admin. These steps have to be taken to run Altiverb. If I do not open Live as admin, I get an error with the Altiverb plugin. *yes*

The reviews for this one are ace + there's cracked editions from air all over the web,
so logic told me maybe this was the one.

I've been searching for a "go-to" high end reverb that would work best for my machine..
I picked up aether a while back and can't say I'm too pleased with the results on my CPU/workflow.

Just exploring options thx

 

I tried 2 separate Dls of 6.12 that 7 zipped as incomplete setup/corrupted file..
I have the IR library so I should be set in terms of that.
