The death toll is far greater than the 100 killed in Paris. Remember... approximately 3,000 died September 11, 1991 at the World Trade Center alone. This is not to lessen the French tragedy but to remind people that we live in a world of hatred... it is a continuation of the kind terror portrayed on 9/11. Except now, the target isn't just the United States... but the so-called "free world" or "the west" or "the Christians" or whomever ISIS determines to be an enemy, which seems to be anyone that isn't in ISIS.
Also... don't forget that "Jhadi John" (Mohammed Emwazi) is believed to have been killed by an American drone strike yesterday, which I'm sure has chapped the ISIS' anus a little...

Another thing to remember is that these people only know war. They have lived with war for centuries and I don't believe they know how to live a life that doesn't include war. I truly think they are terrified of the sounds of peace... smiles, happiness, love and a joy of life are absolutely beyond their comprehension... hence, they must die before they kill again. Let me at them... I will "Ban" them from living their life... and push the red button.

 

Politicians like to take advantage of things like this. They just say "how can we use this, to make it better for us"? That's what frightens me the most when things like this happen. And yes it's a shame that things that happen in Paris will be in all the news tomorrow, but not when it happens in Yemen, on a much bigger scale, even.

I have family and friends in France. No word yet if they are ok or not. Grew up a good portion of my life in Paris before coming to the US and French is my first language. Hope everyone is safe. Prayers going up for France and my condolences to French members of this community. Tout ira bien.

Ps: I agree with all. It is a sad world we live in and sadly things will continue to get worse. I won't partake in religion blame, but I do believe that religion and politics will soon turn against one another. A great war is coming.

What strikes a cord with me about ISIL is journalist James Foley, who was beheaded by Jihadi Jackass, I once live less than a half a mile down the street from Foley. Literally. I participated in the run for him last month. I did not know him personally but I can say I took several Journalism classes in High school and College and wrote for the newspapers for the schools in which I attended. I used to specialize in cartooning in newspapers as well, so the Charlie Hebdo killings in Paris struck another cord with me. The recent attacks in Paris were believed to be a retaliation to the supposed airstrike killing of Jihadi Jackass (aka Jihadi John. I just replace "john" with "jackass") earlier the other night - which honestly I'm rather glad that rotten satanic creature is gone if he is.
God bless the innocent lives lost in Paris. Not to sound like a total wuss but I nearly shed a tear or two tonight for those people. What an agonizing shame that that's what had to go down. I am not a promoter of killing and all, but ISIL can literally burn in hell. If I could rid the world of something it would be martyring attacks like these and all this killing and war. Obviously they are never going to stop happening unless humankind in general somehow ceases to exist - which I also do not want to happen. If there is a God then perhaps these martyring creatures will see their eternal fate in their "afterlife". Honestly I'm pissed off tonight as the result of all these attacks. I'm just hoping and praying something similar doesn't happen here at our homeland - America. I love my country. I love people in general, even though we could be much more civilized at times. I saw the death toll was at about 153 last I saw. Terrible terrible terrible night.
God bless Paris and all of my Prayers, thoughts, hopes and essentially my entire heart is going out to the people of France. I have turned out all the lights in my house and lit a candle in the window tonight to light the way for the casualties on their way to heaven. The stars seem a bit dimmed tonight over my head when I went outside. I can tell the stars are sobbing a little. God bless and I will be giving prayers unto my pillow tonight that no more innocent lives will be lost. This world has lost more than enough to these demonic barbarians.

My brother lives at 50m of the Charlie Hebdo, near the Bataclan, is terrified.

i have 4 Muslims that work with me they told me that some of the people in isis that has been brainwashed the people that new to Islam like people from UK that just convert to Islam and isis uses this to manipulate the new Muslims to fight for them in syria and that what happened and i hope that people who convert to any Religion should know what's right and what's wrong before isis take advantage of them
