does this requier a working internet connection?
and how about setting your pc date back while in use, would this give you infinite ''time''?

$30 a month? thats hte same price as the pro tools subscription, but for plugins? lmao more like $10 month, 20 or 30 is already a ripoff (yes and i know people hate subscription services)

    • All Access Native Monthly Subscription: $29 per month :dont:
    • All Access Native Yearly Subscription: $295 per year
    • All Access HD Monthly Subscription: $49 per month
    • All Access HD Yearly Subscription: $495 per year

too much for a starter but I think anywhere between $15-20 per month is reasonable and manageable.

I think the subscription model is okay, if you are working on commision and just need his plugins for a certain project, because some of them are really great. I really can't comment on the price tag though. It all comes down if you can benefit from the investment. So this business model is not really gatored towards musicians who rarely make any money with their music.

it eats one usb port and eats battery, when you are mobile. not to mention its uncomfy to be careful that you not break it, when its plugin in.
an ilok or every other dongle can be stolen easily, when you are on the road or you can just lose it.
most of the dongle shit is, build like that, various access on a variation of actions the user does with the plugin. call a preset, turns knobs, recall settings, this all takes resources ...

there are concepts, which proved that you can build a lightweight protection, which is hard to reverse and nobody has successful reversed and it doesnt rely on a hardware thing.

having a way to leave the user with less hassle as you can and ilok or all the dongles are definitely not the way to go.
