My thoughts are, they are pushing out updates because 10 is comming. I mean they did't even do the beta testing yet is one of the biggest updates live 9 has seen.

I installed today and I've noticed it's way more CPU intensive than before. Must be the meters. :/

Finally an update for Live that's worth talking about. Still disappointed with no VST3 and no additional MIDI tools or updates (layered midi editing/chord detection etc...). This has definitely made me excited for Live 10 - hopefully not too long until an official announcement/release!

Does somebody else have a problem using the computer keyboard to play MIDI notes? Since 9.2.3 I haven't been able to play instruments with the keyboard and it looks like this didn't fix it... :trashing:

Nope, it's taking midi information but not turning it into sound... :dunno:

9.2.4 to 9.4.9 were internal alphas and betas. only for power users and alpha testers.
9.5 has a faster start of the app again, which is really cool.

i dont get the idea of push, i see no need for it, maybe because i am not a live composer or performer?

I honestly thought the same about Push 1 until I started working at a music store and started messing around with one. They're not for everyone, but if you like using them they can speed up your workflow a lot as well as adding an extra element of 'fun' to the writing/composing phase. Also a very powerful tool for performing live using Live, just do a few YouTube video searches and you'll see!
