As for the question, basically this is the screen of a typical spectrum analyzer with logarithmic scale.

OP: just get Izotope Insight, FLUX pure analyzer, Voxengo SPAN plus or Nugen Audio Visualizer already.
If you are looking for specifics it's spectrum analyzer, phase/correlation meter and level (Peak and RMS) meter.

Part of the duties of a mod is to keep forums clean. I have no idea why would anyone make poll with three identical answers, more so on a Q/A thread. Note that I didn't remove the post, only polished it. Gestapo would do the former without a blink of an eye.
At the same time, I believe informing the user of all the changes made is a fair practice, useful for both parties.

 

indeed, you are after a Spectrum Analyzer as has been mention above, dunno the exact one.
The one I use, which is free and is great in terms of usability/tweakabilty is Seven phase Spectrum Analyzer.

 

the one in the picture is def. Master Pinguin as MLB4 suggested
and it is the best Computer based analyzer kit i came across.
that little fucker from sister site doesnt work well on win764
thought me so much about percived loudness and real db, none of the other come even close
the entry aka standart is only 1mb of programing wizardry
and if you have a real! full duplex audiocard you dont even need the routing progs ;)

there is another vst with a usefull function from an indi dev.
you load instances of the plug into channels you want to compare
like on a kick and on your bass and you see the spectrums overlayed (in diffrent colors)
