Not a bad idea, but would be a great idea if if wasn't just for guitares.
You can reampe almost anything, so …

    But I'm keeping an eye.

    thanx for sharing this info.

    @ Floond,

*yes* ...and above all, less expensive than buying a real 'Kemper Amp' !!!

    Thanks for the info...

    @ Davea,

    Choice is yours... *yes*
In fact, when you're logged as 'User', you simply have to upload your desired WAV File(s) to be processed, then make your choice of Amps/Cabs/Mics and Settings.

    * DI file has to be in .wav mono format and sample rate should equal 44.1 kHz

    * DI with pro option gives you access to more advanced settings

From there, nobody forbid you *no* to use any '.WAV' Sample (file) you want to process through 'Kemper' Amps/Cabs/Mics Simulations you want...
You can even 'process' the meow of your beloved cat, if desired !

Interesting idea, although not for me.

Personally I have a lot fun when tweaking my guitar amp/FX chain. Sure, it sounds worse than a Kemper unit. But if I'm gonna pay I want real hardware, the real analog deal, even if it doesn't offer so much variety. Even if I get that analog hiss noise LOL.

All guitar chains need to be tweaked, whether real one or digital

    I will try it soon.
Very nice service, considering ppl record more and more DI + plugs, but not always the best plugs, best settings and more. With a rig already set, and Kemper quality, i even think professionals will use it

PS : about the Kemper price, it is not so expansive. An Axe-FX II cost a LOT more. And a single decent amp+cab (like 5150+cab) will cost you the same price than a new Kemper... but second hand
On my side, i will not buy one. But i still pretend Kemper is nicely made and priced.

    Hey!

Just to keep you updated, I'd like to let you know that the new features I've mentioned some time ago are now ready!

The preview of reamped tracks is not way faster and easier to use. See it in action here:

There are new pricing options for processing a bunch of tracks, too. We've also decided to change our name to Amp in Cloud and we're now available at ampincloud.com :)

Completely agree. What I meant is that you have tons more of tweaking possibilities in the digital domain.
