    Hi guys!
Do you know if there is a vst that makes simple function wav player/recorder?
Better if it's a basic tool: with keys play / rec ...
I need to take notes in real time...

Do you mean something like Audacity, which is an external application, or a vst plugin for your DAW?

If you've never heard of Audacity, here's a link:

I think of a VST to put in the host on the chain after a instrument

Thanks for the info. So, something like Image Line Edison... or similar. Freeware or commercial?

image line edison all the way... Why? because you can drag and drop (selectyions or the file) back to your DAW.
I searched a lot for this purpuse and always ended with edison.
    Gluck!

I did not know Image Line Edison. I saw a video on the site ... it looks interesting, even if it's too many things. Thanks for the advice!

    No worries.:)
I'll bookmark this thread and call back later. In the meantime, should no-one else mention the alternatives to Edison, I'll go dig up some goodies for you to try.

Nice one, seml. The only other thing that I can think of is Silverlight TapeIt 2. Commercial plugin but dirt cheap.

TapeIt is discontinued and only 32 bit as far as I know.
The Best recorder ever was Devine Machine OSR2 imo

    Hi,
I'm a bit late for the answer :guru: but you may want to check http://4drx.com/plugins/looprecorder (it is cheaper than Edison and allows to drag and drop your recordings easily back to your DAW).
