    the best way to redesign it, would be to perm deactivate the session view (as option in the settings).

    the GUI looks really nice.

    Looks like a huge mix of a lot of things.

    the flatness of ios9/el capitan.
    with a bit of w10 thrown in.

    and a mix between izotope products & bitwig.

    not keen on the colour. i much prefer to turn my screen brightness down than to switch themes.

    but is a good question, will we get a massive overhaul of looks and design for Ableton Live 10.

    ohmerghad yes.

    and even when you delete the scenes so you can make your mixing tab bigger you're always left with one row that will not fuck off.

    Yeah definitely would be cool to have the option there.

    I also thought of Bitwig when I first seen the concept. IMO it would be great to see a new overhaul design in Live 10. :yes:

    i hope so. but i am more focused on more native devices for ableton, such a native LFO, another reverb (simpler one as the current one) and a native IR reverb, etc.
    i hate using m4l devices.

    it is shocking there is no native impulse response loader.

    but you can use the m4l device and waves have one as well.

    still on the H-Reverb hype though, it sounds so good. cpu hogging but the quality is there

    i am more and more using stock plugin, its faster and they are better integrated in the daw.
    the m4l IR is unusable there are still major cpu glitches. the LFO devices works fine, but still the cpu usage is higher as with a native device.

    I've been using Bitwig for some days to learn how to use it, and I'm loving it.
    This concept, is just how Bitwig is... perfect.

    WOW! this is amazing! The fonts in the menu are a lil big with a little too much space between them. But overall id feel comfortable working in this environment. Anyone willing to make a current ableton skin with similar colors?

    To me, it doesn't solve what most ppl don't even think about : TOUCH controls.
    How you can launch clips ? You need something like Launchpad.
    Bitwig doesn't solve it either.

    You want the best GUI ever for live use ? Take a look at Sensomusic Usine.
    You can create your own GUI, automate it and more. All is integrated.
    A kind of Live+M4L+scripts+more...

    To sum it up : this GUI is looking nice, but change purely NOTHING to the workflow, especially touchscreen.
