As far as I can recall (haven't used this in ages)

Analog, Bass, Crank, Dance Drums, Dance Vol1, Dance Orchestra, Guitars, Hardstyle, Minimal House 1 and 2, House Vol1, Perpetual Motion, Psytrance, Bigtone Signature, Total Piano, Store n Forward, Stratosphere. There may be a few others, mostly those preset packs that require the above packs to function.

    Hope that helps!

    I prefer just using a synth :)

    NO they wont.

best solution is to buy NEXUS2 and enjoy the dongle and refx nonsense.

i think u cant, but, i can recomend to use another synth instead of that rompler... reallly that nexus its not so good now days that we have stuff way more powerfull... i did myself the change, and believe me, i cant be more happy about it!!!

why i dont use nexus anymore? and like me, i know a bunch of people who's doing the same thing
    1. its a rompler (a sampler based synth using ROM memory), that means he need samples to work, that means u will need hard drive (a LOT of) space for new presets.
    2. you CANT create new sounds-presets, because its not a synth, its a sample-based synth.
    3. Indeed use to sound kinda good, because patches are made with real synths i believe, but nowdays theres out a bunch of good options to sound as good as hardware with software
    4. Because of the lack of synth creation in nexus, and the overwhelming fame he got, a lot of producers use it, sounding almost equal with their tracks
    5. with nexus you can tweak "some" parameters, but, u cant modify everything
IMHO nexus its now a pretty remember for me, nothing else... i did a lot of music with nexus few years ago, but now that i can have powerfull synths in virtual world, i dont need nexus anymore... those expansions are heavy, and not worth the effort...

i can recomend you some insane synth, hear them and make your own opinion about it. these synths are a MONSTER compared to nexus, who besides them, it looks and feels just like a pretty little poodle against a great white shark:
    1. Dune 2 (Synapse Audio): i think this can aproach even to a Virus (again, just MY humble opinion)
    2. Serum (Xfer Records): wavetable based synth, with an xtreme sound and fully tweakabillity
    3. EVERY synth from u-he: those plugins sounds GREAT!!!
    4. Saurus (Tone2): another emulation from old school hardware, with a lot of power inside of it. u need vintage synth? try this one or Diva from u-he
    5. Synths from Native Instruments: this company make great plugins, great synths, great effects, so its a must have
    6. Spire (Reveal Sounds): Another great synth, with a lot of tweaks, and a bunch of presets around if you are not into sound synthesis
    7. and last, but not least important, Sylenth1 (lennar Digital): kinda old right now, still sound good.. i start to use it way back when still was using nexus, and suddenly i found myself changing every nexus i have in my productions, recreating the sound of it with sylenth1.
thats my 2 cents buddy, hope it helps you, cheers!!!!
