    :woot: You're kidding ?

I owned two Rhodes by the past (MKI & Suitecase), actually have in my studio a Yamaha DX7 SUPERMAX and a

Motif 8 with an " PLG 150-DX " installed and I can tell you without hesitation that the Rhodes on the DX7 (MKI,

MKII and Suitecase) really sucks , however all other EP of this one are top noch

I will post comparatif demo ...

Neo Soul Keys(Kontakt).. however most of the character comes from the heavier low end on the patches. This is good if you want a Rhodes to assist in some of the bass portion of a mix as well. And there's a good handful of patches included in the Sampletank 3 library that will sit better within a mix that is already busy in the drum and bass range without having to cut the character(oomph) out of them to make room.

Loopmasters Vintage Rhodes is really great for that smooth lounge-y Rhodes sound....

I still use Mr Ray 22 most of the time... and Sonnivox's suitcase sounds pretty good.. if you can get it to work
I think I only ever got it to work in W7

After trying many of them, I mainly use Neo Soul Keys 4 and Mr Ray.

Anyway, most of them sound good for slow atmospheric playing... the problem is that You can not get the real feeling if You play Funk.
Of course, the biggest limitation is in the controller itself... I still have to find one that has that "jelly" springy feel on the keys

I use neo soul keys as wel..My go to for whurlitzer e.piano rhodes.
But I recently downloaded Vintage Rhythm Section by Funk Soul Production for Kontakt. Some ill sounding vintage rhodes clavs and vibes. Some nice vintage tube sounding amps, good reverbs. Nice smooth go to basses and some nice sounding guitars and mod-wah switch to instantly map the mod wheel for wah wah effect. If you like that 70's vibe I recommend it. I use it a lot and I'm very picky about what kontakt libraries I actually keep and use.

This is a real gorgeous set up, man! Compared to my dungeon, it's like a musical lair from heaven. Makes me want to clean my studio, dude!
