I installed a recent Capt. Salvo U-he plugins pack release. Every thing works except Hive.
It says there is a permissions problem and then it loads in demo mode.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

 

Is it a cracked version, isn't it? So I suppose something goes wrong while it was cracked...

 

Not sure if this will solve your problem, but have tried to do permission reset on the plugin?
You can use Batchmod or permission reset applications that can take care of that.

 

It's PC VST Windows 7 64 bit. So Mac stuff won't work here.

 

well, first of all, ignore the "demo mode" message as stated in the nfo.

i'm not on my windoze machine right now, but i think hive (and also the others) needs permission to write to its .data-folder (where presets etc. are stored).
search for a folder called Hive.data and check permissions.

I set the permissions and it opens normally but it's definitely in demo mode making clicks and pops.
I'll try replacing the.dll file again and see what happens.

 

I replaced the.dll file again and reset permissions again and so far ( 10 minutes) no demo clicks.
