Love the look of Ice. I would definatley install it on a new build. I use just a standard win-7 64-sp1 (updated to 2014). standard win 7 OS nothing turned off for me uses about 2.33 GB of ram at startup. 600+ megs at startup is awesome tho.

-English Language Pack
-Sp1 platform update required by language packs
-Back up drivers tool
-write iso to USB tool

I think it also depends on what's kind of components and drivers you are using, let me be more clear. My laptop is quite old now and drivers were stock driver mostly, no usb3, no ssd. quite basic laptop with basic components. My desktop wich is more advanced and use an i7 is using more ram since he need to run more Intel services, USB3 stuff and so on. It uses about 1 GB of ram in idle wich is already pretty good for Windows 7 Ultimate without losing any feature.

 

Those are the best moment... may i ask you wich CPU has it??

 

Works particulary good on laptops, because less resource used means less consumption, less cpu usage and more battery.

 

i got an hp pavilion a6228x 4gb of ram with Amd athlon 64x2 dual core processor 5200+2.60ghz thats been collecting dust and really been wanting to use it hopefully it can run without any trouble
