Well, I've been thinking about experimenting with weird and unusual vocals effects for a while, but never actually got to do it.

Do you have any suggestions of plugins or techniques that are great to transform vocals creatively?

I do a lot of this kind of stuff. Can't really give you any pointers, because there's not really any one technique I use over and over. Just treat it like an instrument, do whatever sounds cool. Or when all else fails, try random crap until something sticks. Recently I got a really cool pitch bend/detune effect from applying ring modulation, of all things, to a couple words for emphasis.

I should qualify this by saying I do rap with a lot of glitch influence, so there are a lot of options available to me that may not be suitable for melodic styles of music.

 

Running effects in parallel and jacking the faders up and down can be fun. like this...

Granulize/granulate, pitch, multi-pitch, formant, stretch, reverse, distort, vocode, parallel process, layer, layer with envelope followers, etc etc. Then combine these techniques in any order and any number of instances. There are about a million things you can do.
Try to be more specific.
