Everything written is a statement, whether it's to state your name, to question, to inform, etc. Yours (and you are a pro? a pro idiot?) was to insinuate. And when you attach (please leave your personal insults to pm's only) to that it becomes a paradox as I can surely read what you said to the guy, and so can everyone else.

 

and I also said why not make a positive critique of the OP's music, rather than hijacking OP's thread and berating another members reply, something which you are also accustomed to? (statement)

You could have answered that question yourself simply by scrolling back and reading my critique of the OP's music before mentioning anything to you in this thread. My critique was also positive according to the OP's reply as well. I have no problems being straight forward, and it's far fetched that I contradict myself. I'm an ok guy, and have no problem against you. As far as what you said though.. it is what it is, clearly.

 

Yes, but I also critiqued (positively), however I will also defend others who have been criticised for no reason (no pun) other than causing offence / trolling against other members which in this case was the intention

It sounds interesting as a concept, would you like to expand on the makeup of the individual chord notes?

Anyway, I really like the notes/chords you have used and they certainly work well. I'd have liked a longer version so the melody could have time to get me hooked... but I could always hit the loop button.

Nice indeed, but I'd use another drums, kinda 80s sounding one. Doesn't mean those are wrong but at least to me that lead reminds me pretty much to 80s so I would try it to check how it sounds with it.

Well yes, I am a pro idiot, but that's besides the point. The "tune" is endearingly awful... My critique is to rise and repeat 10,000 times before posting another tune. However, I hope he/she posts another 20 sec. opus tomorrow and the next day and so on, because it makes me smile, therefore I reacted to his artwork in a positive way. It bugs me when something so obviously rudimentary gets anything but encouragement, so I wrote what I wrote. Sorry to offend the community and its sensibilities. And yes, I am a pro, and yes, I suppose now I'm also officially a troll. What a mess! I'll stick to reading and listening, because I genuinely dig this site.

I like what you're trying to accomplish and this one is better (subjective) than the others. Try to find out for yourself what made this one work, that's the best way to learn.

If you want I can post a 1 minute tune that I recently composed that features some similarities with your style. Also, it goes through at least 4 key signatures and each one has it's OWN CHORDS which are there FOR A REASON. That could help you figure out some things or at least wouldn't leave you thinking that I am just pissing on your work.
