  3. Deeply unhappy tortured music that feels too heavily sequenced. Feels like a controlled Yamaha Motif going through a weightlifting session. It needs to build, instead it's 0.5cm thick Nuttella from the get go. Little hot 6-8K little short of air around 12K.

  4. The set is strewn with rubble and scree which lends a sense of desolation and misery, From stage right but unseen, a piercing scream of agony followed by claps of thunder and a final tympani roll in decresendo. The curtain falls. Blackout.

Uh... You know sunshine was actually praising it right? Really quite high praise too, as it inspired a creative response from him instead of the same "hey I like it". Maybe brush up on the old reading comprehension before downvoting

As for me... when I first played, I thought "not a style of music that I could really have any kind of a valid opinion about", but as it went on I got accustomed to it and then started to really enjoy it. Good work man.

Thank you all for your feedback! I carefully treat any opinion, because every person has a right to it!

  8. @korte1975 If you were refering to my post, I was trying to express in terms of visualizion how I interpreted the track. To me it is very dramatic, and having worked a little in theater is probably why I did it this way. I liked the track and elucidated in my own inimitable style. What about my description don't you appreciate? What is your music like like? How does your own music make you feel, and have you ever been motivated to create a track because of something you felt, saw, tasted, smelled, dreamed, fucked or loved? I just did the same thing with Ptahin's piece, albeit in words in highest praise that the moment mustered and tried to translate my feelings as they arose from my fathomless depths. I hope the artist understands this.

for me it's got the right tunes/ melody ...but wrong choice of sounds. It has this kind of "1990's in built demo on a workstation" kind of sounds. Sorry only way I can describe it! Cheers

that is the biggest most negative comment one could give me if would have shared something :bleh:
And I totally disagree, I liked it very much, but I think the mixing is to much on the carefull side.

It's missing a thick bottom-end on my system, and the instruments are a little to 'clean' for me, what I mean by that is that most instruments only play in their own frequency range without paying respect to their lower and upper harmonics which makes it a little to loose by my taste.
It could be mixing, or it wasn't there in the first place but maybe something to consider:unsure:

  11. Hey guys, when I give myself the space and time after my jetlagged body
has climated to Eastern Standard Time and I take care of some obligatory family matters, I am going to start a thread and try to nurture the emotive and motivational aspects of music creation as opposed to the technical end, although they need not be multually exclusive and can feed into each other. I hope it to be an adjunct to and enhance the creative tools that we use on a day to basis, a kind of hardwire/softwire marriage type of thingamadjingy. Yeah, that!

sorry didn't mean to offend. The song structure is good... just the choice of sounds not convincing my ears.

As someone already mentioned, it surely is a piece of music I can't give a valid opinion about.

I like this but I feel that the flow needs some rethinking. It grabs interest but then breaks down too soon, feels like it went nowhere.. and when it builds up again it goest to the same place it was at the beggining. Just my few cents of course. :)

I'm not sure it fits into any musical use I can personally think of apart from a keyboard demo as previously described.

This has a Ukraineish air to it.

Not my style but I would think about adding some Industrial sounds to this track, Especially the drums

Keep creating and Rock on :)

Its actually quite good almost like something out of the Bully soundtrack or that type of thing. I'd say its music def suited to a video game or a scene in one of those animated movies like a battle or build up to something. Kinda needs an exotic or interesting lead instrument to fill it out though but for the style I think the sounds work ok.
