Exctracting Rar Archives on Mac

    What is a good free program that lets MAC users uncompress rar files? Thanks in advance.

    Unarchiver or UnrarX, I have both for some reason, both work like a charm.

    so you will have to MSJ STW it

    Im using UnRarX and The Unarchiver. Both are Free!
    I bought also RarMachine. If you need to compress stuff
    you can do this directly in the finder.

    I use RAR Expander a lot and also RarMachine to encrypt files.
    Stuffit Expander is also good in most cases but it's quite a hassle to use sometimes...

    Yeah, I use both UnrarX / Stuffit ….They do a great job….
    But once everything is “unrar-ed” what is the most efficient way to proceed with the .zip archives, the ones containing more .rar archives?
    I want to skip or minimize the step in which every single .zip archive becomes a folder.
    I find annoying to pick the containing .rar from a large array of folders.
    Is it any magic bullet, perhaps a little line of code or so?
    i.e. To work over 85 folders is a time consuming task… :dunno:
