wiht the plugin volume shaper 4 from cableguys
the gui is damaged im the only one with the problem ?????

Could this be due to your 'Graphic Card' that is perhaps not enough performant ?
Or related to a particular 'Open GL' Version (Update ?) if needed/used by 'Cableguys Volume Shaper 4' ?


P.S: If used as 'VST' (not in 'Standalone' Mode), maybe the fact to know within which DAW you use it may perhaps help to solve your trouble... *yes*

 

the software knows that you did not have pay for it , thats why it freezes for you , imo

 

C:\Documents and Settings\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Cableguys\VolumeShaper\3volumeshaper4\presets\ сrashlog file delete fixed this.

 

i fixed this delete сrashlog file on path - C:\Documents and Settings\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Cableguys\VolumeShaper\3volumeshaper4\presets\

After checking some written Comments on this 'Brother's Site' (aka 'AudioZ') found within that 'Cableguys Volume Shaper 4' Article, it seems that you're not alone with that trouble *no* :


"Looks like the GUI is disabled after registration. When you click somewhere it takes you directly to cableguys website but the plugin still it's registered."

For those on Mac go to:

hd/users/username/library/Cableguys

search for volumeshaper crashlog and delete it

for me it works when you delete the crashlog file from the part C:\Documents and Settings\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Cableguys\VolumeShaper\3volumeshaper4\presets\ сrashlog file delete fixed this.
you must look for the crashlog file.
Its good when you block your daw from the internet it means you musst block your daw with the firewall.
When this not helping uninstall the plugin and reinstall!!!!!
