Is there an effective way to install all presets in order to sort them in the usual pulldown list?
I mean any other method than press Load --> open preset file --> choose file --> open

Depends on the plugin and a bit hit & miss, normal way find preset location and include folder there.
May need to rename folder if desired

Example Q-Clone Presets, PC go say C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves\Plug-Ins V9\Q-Clone presets and include folder there renamed if desired

C1 COMP user presets stored say C:\Users\Public\Waves Audio\Plug-In Settings, this location also where user presets sometimes saved etc.

Just remember to insert into menu as whatever name u desire

The folders a bit random & scattered and u may need to initial load & out into preset menu as upon doing so will create an XPS Document so you might have to hit open & save as just once which just as quick as searching for preset locations

There is a ReadMe file in Word format included in the folder with the presets. Here are the directions:

Plugins Celebration Day/Waves 23rd Birthday

In this folder are more than 300 Waves Artists presets, made especially for Waves users.
Each artist folder contains presets, organized by plugin.

Follow these steps to load the Artists presets.

1. Open a plugin in your DAW session.

2. Click the “Load” button on the Waves System Toolbar.

3. Select “Open Preset File.”

4. Open a preset file that matches the plugin.

 

I may be being a little paranoid but - Some people didn't buy some of these expensive plugins, so is it wise to alert waves by filling in a survey and providing email address (and ip)
Would it be possible for someone who already got it, to upload it for the rest of us paranoids please?

I would much rather know the why and in what context in regard to gain staging and philosophy/theory that they, the contributors of these thoughtful preset gifts had in mind rather than just the presets themselves. They are not instrument presets and anything one would use them for need be in context of the material mated to them. Limiting and compression are program dependent, for example.

Yes, I guess this is the only way, but...
This procedure needs, lets say, 10 clicks per preset. Presets are 300. This makes 3000 clicks to put all presets in the right place and maybe 1 hour work (or more).
I just cant understand why Waves didnt make a mini installer for the preset, I mean, The bundle is really expensive and customers would deserve it

I agree, these presets seem like an odd thing to use...

Ive used some of Pensado's waves presets before, for a bit of vocal work i was doing and they were a million miles away from the sound i was trying to achieve...

Its all about the context i guess...
