I assume its to show how quickly, or not, a daw starts up and is ready for you to use.

Anyway everything works too quickly nowadays, i used to be able to turn my computer on, go make a cup of tea and a bacon sarnie and go back upstairs just as the computer was ready to use. :)

I like the brief, fidgety mouse movement while waiting for DP to load.

I got a minute of amusement out of it. Shame Ableton Live was not included. It would have given DP a run for its money.

For me, studio one takes longer than dp9 or ableton to load.

It takes a few minutes for my electronic equipment to warm up, plus there are finger and hand exercises before playing, and putting the kettle on ...

I Have not seen the video as am at work but I think the 'fastest loading DAW' medal goes to FL studio. Abandoned it long time ago in favour of Studio One which takes XXX times longer than FL studio. Tried demos of Cubase and DP and in terms of loading they take too much time. Also, in my experience, PT loads vsts (aax) faster than any other DAW after being launched. I stand corrected because it also depends on your machine.
