yeah, In this past year preferred r2r if I could pick between 2, because they seem to release the most stable releases
but there are people who are trying to help out or get recognized and they got scared away by cat personally

It's time to recognize that (at least what I understand from Saint) these site's are made to serve the public,
Not Cat, not a cool (40+) kids club, not r2r, not copy-omgIwasworkingonthatyouspoiledit-lefter.

and last of all, please stop spreading false information, I've seen releases pop up at audioz, where only the inner circle of cat his boys responded within a minute that it should not be shared public.

When I got my first warning (which seems to be gone, thanks Andrew? Saint?) I was told by cat himself in a pm rant that I wouldn't get the new goodies he kept away from the public (I was not the only person in that treath I'm pretty sure the other guy got the same pm)

why does anyone care about having to wait a little bit longer for latest releases? whether or not you are on private pm list? the list I was on (select few - LOL) did not include R2R releases, it was other AS / AZ members sharing stuff they had purchased or had access to beta versions and they were also sharing their personal purchased serials, I think this "internals" accusation maybe just a distraction?

It's more compression than decompression (it isn't even compression but what ever)
when typing in ascii (American Standard Code for Information Interchange) - shortly normal text
instead of using binary code, where a simple "a" is "01100001" and it has absolutely nothing to do with
hacking or sort of stuff. Everything behind everything (computer related) stays in binary code.
What you can see as text, hex or what ever is just translated binary code because a machine doesn't
understand any words in any language, it just understands 0 and 1.

To get b2t:
I see that whole thing like nothing we should care about.
If I bake a cake and give it to a friend as a gift, then I don't care when all of my other friends know
about the cake and want a piece aswell. I would say "go bake yourself your own cake or buy one if you want some"
and I bet anyone else would handle like this because it's pure envy from the others about the friend who got it.

I can actually agree with most or all of that. The part of the larger conversation that grates at me is the whole 'elitist' thing. If you actually go back and read what the argument was 99% of the time (not that there's any reason for anyone to waste their time on that), it was mostly imploring people to stop badmouthing R2R/HW for keeping their stuff to themselves, or to stop complaining about the situation, asking when they're gonna get more stuff, etc. Neither I nor most of the people who are tight with Cat ever claimed or believed ourselves to be a tier above, and most of us were shocked to have received his generosity in the first place, as there was no reason for him to stick his neck out for us except that we all got along, shared similar anxieties about the situation with releases, and had fun chatting together. He just liked doing nice things for the people he likes, and of course to us it was a big deal because it made us feel like a part of something, since he's got connections we don't.

We were all just worried that the spread of certain behaviors would prolong and deepen the divide between the releasers and the receivers. There's also a lot of people talking about 'leechers', which (at least as far as I experienced) was rarely or never the focus of the conversation. I never told people to start supplying - I told them to stop complaining. Should we have turned it down a notch? Probably. Hindsight is 20/20. I've made no secret of the fact that I don't have the budget for big ticket plugins, and if I've supplied something, it was some 'small fry' type of stuff, so 'leechers' were never a problem to me.

You're correct that AZ/AS is one of many, but also the biggest and most well known. I wouldn't have any trouble believing that R2R has eyes on these websites (obviously HW does), and I do trust at least one person who says he speaks with them regularly.

But yes, your assessment is well stated and well thought out.

But the site owner decided to charge you if you wanted to stay.
Everything was blocked for user that didnt pay you could only see the welcome page if you logged in and now i am not even a member there anymore and registration is closed also.

This topic is ridiculous. Honestly, guys, you have what, like, THOUSANDS of readily available tools to make any concievable music or SFX with...

Seriously, most important stuff and stuff that most mainstream people use is available. NI? Available. Spire/Serum/Sylenth? Available. Omnisphere2? Available. Latest DAWs? Available. MAX 7? AVAILABLE! Latest Waves? You got it! Damn, what else do you need? Do you expect some MAGIC release to make your stuff BETTER SOUNDING? It won't happen.

Stuff gets released publicly eventually. Everyone who has watched the scene for a few decades will tell you that. Just work with what you have in the meantime and stop with all the hatred. I could care less about what people share internally. It's their business which doesn't impact me in any way, stop hating on Catalyst, I fail to see him as a source of the problem although I am not an active member of the community, what do I know.

Anyways. Spend more time working and less time bitching and searching for "internal stuff". It won't solve your problems. I, for one, couldn't care less about anything in the above posted list.
