OSX El Capitan Release Should We Update ?

    Au workaround:

    Backup this file from Yosemite first!

    2. Download old version of auvaltool, for example from here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4081659?tstart=0
    or get from yosemite

    3. Open Finder, click on Go To -> Got to folder and type in "/usr/bin" (without the "")

    4. Search for the file auvaltool and make a copy of it to your desktop (if something wents wrong)

    5. replace auvaltool in the /usr/bin folder with the one you downloaded in step 2

    6. Restart Logic, Open empty project, Go to Settings-> Plugin-Manager. Select not validated plugins ant click on rescan

    I won't. Once for usimg a hackingtosh and second because I've got an E-Mail Notification from Native Instruments that there are Hardware conflicts with cccertain Controllers and Interface like the Maschine MK 1 which I use daily. And also: because the newer OSX com with all kinds of whacky iOS shit that I don't want. If I could, I'd still use Snow Leopard 10.6.8.

    Want a good advice?
    Get rid of everything from Apple.
    They don't care about nobody, except their bank account.
    Also the quality control of virtually everything from them is getting worst.
    I did the change, never regretted, and I also spare a LOT of money

    yeah...the Image-Line Alphas actually expired on october 1st, so that could be it. A coincidence.

    Captain is the best release since Snow Leopard, it really is faster and more stable then Yosemite ! But i would be concerned with the new security issues inside it Blocking OpenShh dylib trick, haven't tried those yet

    "Snill", I actually got the Final Mix to work by code signing it....Also my OSX Validate tools work...After i copied the auvaltool from the yosemite partition. NI works as well. I will be going thru all my essentials to see whats working because i will be getting a new machine soon and just want to be prepared....

    Softube Plug-Ins and all openish plugins don't work anymore. And if you try to re'crack/ (replace the lib file in /usr/lib/), you get the "insufficient permission" message. Aparently in elCapitan, the user folder is completly blocked. I tryed the system security preferences, and enabled "alllow applications downloaded from: anywhere", and the Therminal comad to enable root user account(dsenableroot), didn't work. If enyone get a positive result with this, pls let me know the method.
