does anyone know the exact date image-line has for the release of the native for mac osx ?

 

I don't know...but I can't wait! Seems half of the world is on FL (because it's arguably the most popular and downloaded cracked daw). Would make it so much easier to collab with some my friends.

Outside of that, as far as production goes, it's top notch. I'm now a Logic user, but I would love to use it once again, but this time on native Mac. Image-Line could potentially create a HUGE seperation between other daws if/when they release FL on mac. It should be interesting to see if a lot of Mac users switch.

As far as your question, I know what you meant, but NO ONE has the EXACT date it will be released besides Image-Line themselves. They haven't released that type of info. They did say they still have to fix the following:

• VST/AU Plugins
• Drag-drop from browser
• MIDI
• Proper retina scaling

So we may be a just a few months away. My guess is they'll try to (or they should) release it on Christmas. People would go nuts.

exactly! Only reason why I don't use FL is cause there's not a mac native version. It would make things so much better for me cause all of my friends also use fl.

 

Can't wait to try mac native FL. It would be nice if it could be rewired into other DAW's.
Hopefully, we will see it soon.

 

Damn a Xmas release would be SWEET! I'm a logic and ableton user, but i've currently got a copy of FL installed on my mac. it's a great program. there are quite alot of stuff they need to fix tho. i noticed you can't drag and drop a WAV or any samples from say the desktop. also can't adjust the screen size either. Almost there image-line! the wait continues.

 

thanks for the replys and i know i have tried bootcamp but reinstalling and getting windows version of my vst's is a pain so i decided to just wait for the native it seems they are getting close i saw the latest alpha testing they finally got vsts to work only 32bit though anyways im excited image line will make huge sales with the mac version and im sure big named producers will go back to it once the native comes out

 

FL studio is the whole reason why i'm running bootcamp, make tracks in FL studio, export stems and mix in logic, works perfectly for me until they release the native osx version, when they do it's gonna be byebye windblows.
