Hi everybody. I didn't know such a site exists. For example, If you wanna know the old appereance of an old site (like e.g. Linplug) to compare with their new site, you can try this. I just wanted to share this. Maybe people will find it usefull.

I use archive.org to be able to download some freeware vst plugins that has been talked about on the net across old forums that can be found by searching after random vst plugins on google and those posts and threads can come from both this year and 2014 + downwards extending to 2004 and even below than that like those years around 2000 where the first early vst plugins was released around 90s and year 2000 and upwards up to 2015.

Some website links that can be found on some old internet forum posts can lead to dead websites where nothing can be downloaded.

The archive.org website can sometimes solve that problem.
It does not work with all websites that has been working in the past before they got dead.

They also have nearly every Grateful Dead show from soundboard source up there for free. Good stuff.

nice find! Audioz's look in 2012 wasn't bad at all. I def see the improvement, but it's nice to see they always placed importance on making it user friendly.

When I found that site, (and it wasn't so long ago tbh),
I completely lost my mind, I just wasn't able to get outta it for hours and hours!
A really awesome resource. And if it wasn't cool enough having the possibility to browse old versions of any page,
I even found older installers that were taken offline years ago! Just unbelievable, these guys are doing a truly awesome work,
even for people who know what it is about, is hard to imagine the amount of work that must have been done to make this project possible.
I know it was in the working since several years, honestly I haven't investigated too much what's behind it after I first discovered it,
While I was reading this and typing my reply I just found out so many other cool features it offers.

Here's some, if you want to dig some more:

Historical Software Collection - Historical PC Games - DOS Games - Various Platforms Software Library - The Old School Emulation Center

    There's even a collection of 78RPM & Cylinder records :)

If you can afford, consider a donation: https://archive.org/donate/

Pardon me, but where have you been? It's probably the oldest, most established internetric repository of copyrighted and non-public-domain intellectual property posted by persons who haven't rights nor permission to do so.

It's indeed a very good resource! I liked the older LinPlug site much better.
Also iZotope site looked much better in the past.

It was blocked in Russia in September, using Tor to explore it. Very good site.
