Just a quick info.
UPX is not a problem, since teams usually make keygens, unpacking is not needed since there's no need to patch the binary and keygenned keyfiles will work on the untouched binary. The dev was so kind to leave 32bit binary unpacked. Only 64bit use UPX. That, btw, can be unpacked with the official CLI tool, or if it use a customized UPX like in this case (official tool can't unpack it), it is still easy to unpack for a good reverser. UPX is mainly meant as a size compression tool, not as a protector, and so it doesn't feature anything particularly hard to defeat. Also, UPX for Mac has been around for quite long time now, most experienced reversers had dealt with it already at this point ;)

 

There is some news on 64 bit sylenth?? Is the beta working fine??

 

I had logic crash it once and it then put the synth into demo mode.. My license file then wouldn't register either but it was easily fixed by downloading the latest installers.. Other than that, and the initial teething problems I first had updating it runs just fine.
