    Acustica Audio Magenta seems to be based on this EQ. They can't mention it by name but they do give you enough hints to know that it's the manley massive

    NI Passive EQ

    You have to hit it with an EBU standard signal -18dbFS=0Vu, run it too hot and it sounds like crap.

    Once I tried it...highs became digital after highboost...very digital...didn't like... But gui is on the top..

    NI Passive EQ from "SOFTUBE" and digitalish? Can't believe it!
    Which Acustica Audio EQ's ?
    Are you using only one for coloring or an arsenal of EQ's ?

    I use FabFilter Eq mainly and ironically the main alternatives I use are two simple free eq: PTeq-1a by Ignite Amps and BootEQmkII by Variety of Sound. The first one is a Poultec with a few enhancements, the second one is an eq with lovely musical filters coupled with a nice saturation plugin.
