exactly... I cant remember which one... oh wait, yeah, its one of those "One Knob" shits... but anytime I brought it up, just to see how dumb it really was, it took a long time to load due to the outlandish number of anal-beads it had to relinquish from its upper and lowers intestine.

 

im going to play around with a few more vsts today..nord lead and voyager (thanks bax) today, and will see my results, my guess, is it will be nowhere close to the original big fat sound. maybe i will chech out diva today as well as i understand it basicly is as close to the jp-8080 as you can get..?

There is no good vsti emulation of the nord lead around.There are some pretty neat reaktor ensembles, though.
The jp6k does the best jp-8000 emulation imho.

 

i played with jp6k so far. its ok. It can be cool with some modulation and flanger effects. Korg MDE-X works best! Because its Korg it is the real thing! Its not really an emulation if its made by the original company..

My last attempt @ Eiffel. at least it truely sounds old school. I made this using custom presets for Diva and Synth1 and with various effects from Korg mde-x. There is about 4 layered synths working here.

By the way, synthmaster might be the problem, if it still the old version that i downloaded awhile back. There was a "time bomb" that disable some options, it might be the reason why you keep getting errors.

I would suggest syntorial if you still want to learn about different synths. It's not just for software, you can apply it for hardware when you get one. Also, syntorial helps to become less preset and more hands on sound design.

I think Fl studio 64 bit 11.1.1 is the problem actually, a few things still dont work correctly in it, like one of the options in fl slicer (beat slicer or something) its ok I have Fl 9 still installed as well and cubase 5 to use the stuff that wont work correctly in it. i can download 12 and i bet alot of the problems i have with a few older stuff would be fixed.. now i could be wrong maybe its just not cracked properly, i have no idea, all i know is that it comes with a licence file thats it. no keygen or crack folder (SynthMaster2)

im using an HD 7870 video card with SynthMaster 2.6.etc.. (03.2015) basicly the last version available i think?

Cool ill chech it out sometime. ill skip the eq n comp tho.
