i think im going to just save up the hardware at this point. ive been trying for years actually to get those types of sounds to no avail, i hate to say it, vsts still have nothing on the original super tweakable hardware. meh. yeah you can get sort of similar sounds with vsts but you cant get it 100% :/ FOR EXAMPLE : try and re create Eiffel 65 - My Console main lead, i bet you cant re create it even close. ive tried with many different vsts to try and create something similar and ive failed many times. ;)

 

i should post the scrapped cinematic move your body remix i did for a trailer that was never used btw, its actually alright but i scrapped it simply because it just wasnt good enough..

 

ok this Eiffel 65 remix was not released commercialy for a certain project i wont talk about : (thank heaven i would probaly get sued xD)

(dub in life 2160p hifi rmx) i wasnt happy with theorigianl pitch and pitched the whole track up 6 semis lol, i was actually going rls it like that to, than decided to scrap it since i never got eiffels permission to even remix the track and put in in a traielr, its better to be safe then sorry.

These were the days.. Well, fitrered supersaws probably was the sound. From VST's, RGC audio Triangle, Ganymed, iblit, polyblit, also Crystal - that's a weird one, Synth1. These are I think the most known free ones.

If you buy Virus for super saw sound, you are wasting money. It is no more the king in this domain.

another thing i was playing around with SynthMaster and i swear that plugin hates fl 11, it always causes error invalid floater operation when trying to render a track! sometimes i get a really loud blast of pink noise to when trhying to change presets! its really frustrating and i have no work around, anyone know what im talking about?

maybe the plugins still has bugs, cuz im using the 64bit version..but im just not sure and it really sucks cuz i made a track its kind of a modern/oldschool track but i cant render it -___-

It's actually not (these days) so much what synth you use, but how you use it and how you process it. I could have used Sylenth1, Synth1, Audjoo Helix or pretty much any subtractive synth (stacked saws, squares, noise, etc).
It's the EQ/filtering and phaser (or tremolo) after it that is of bigger importance to achieve the sound.

16 synth layers? Something is seriously wrong here because Front Line Assembly wouldn't layer 16 synths to make a sound and Front Line Assembly you are most certainly not. I recommend you take Baxter's advice because the guy knows what he's talking about. It's not the tools, it's how you use them

 

does anybody have any ideas why SynthMaster is being a dick in fl11 64 bit?
